Platform Hidalgo operates in the Point Arguello Field and is the youngest competitor in the race. Unlike the Sable Santa Ynez platforms, she was not subject to the 2015 Refugio shutdown and has maintained continuous production throughout the race period. Her team describes their approach as 'relentless consistency.' Officials have noted this is technically true.
